Title: US depression glass Spiral pattern in green uranium - ID=Federal Glass' Spiral
Post by: Lustrousstone on July 19, 2008, 09:39:37 PM
Can anyone confirm the name of these please. Are they from the same manufacturer? They were found together. A footed sherbert with the Federal Glass mark, but it looks just like Anchor Hocking Spiral, and 8 inch luncheon plates unmarked but they look like Anchor Hocking Spiral. all in green uranium glass

You should post these on http://chataboutdg.com/invision/ (http://chataboutdg.com/invision/) there is a collector on that site that only collects spiral patterns.

Well I posted over there and Jim Retzloff was kind enough to confirm them both as Federal Glass' Spiral pattern from the mid-1920s. Very similar to the Anchor Hocking Spiral, but that has 54 shorter ribs on the 8-inch plate and a sherbert that is fatter at the base.

One for resoloved US, I think  ;D

Hi,
I knew Jim would help you, he is our spiral collector and expert.  Any time you have some US glass feel free to ask over there.  There are a lot of experts on different companies.
