Title: Pink Amythest coloured "ducks"

I was trawling the Specalist Auctions site and found this:

I have one of these that I found for a few pennnies - yet the word Duck had never really crossed my mind nor indeed had the word pretty!

Anyone have any idea what they are?

i think the amethyst is probably neodymium glass, try it under a halogen light, should turn bluish green
