I do not think it is Murano - but it might be Italian. Or Swedish. Or German.

not an accurate (colour/height) match, but perhaps another
starting point?
the rim finishing (?please improve my english when necessary?)
seems to be different,too.

Very neat find, Dirk - same type of clear cased vase, rectangular section, rounded corners and almost a match - except for the polished rim. However, I do not think these are Royal Krona (Maleras, Björkshult, Skruf & Gullaskruf).  I think these are more likely from Bormioli Rocco in Parma, and much more recent than Royal Krona which fell apart in 1977. But never say never, of course.

Thanks Dirk, Cathy and Ivo. Mine seem altogether a light weight version of the Krona, although mine have some weight, the top rims are thinner and fire polished rather than ground as per the Krona.  They have always been a mystery to me and look as if they will remain so.  They are part of my glass "clear out" this week, and am reluctantly putting them on ebay without an attribution.  I rather hope  I will get to keep them though  ...........silly really, but I am rather fond of them!  Emmi

Perhaps it's by Sea Glasbruk and it's named after Rune Strand....

I've just been searching on a Kosta Boda site and came across a link on that site for Sea Glasswork - I think this is the vase and it is called Rune?
I will go back and have another search and see if I can link for you.  It was for sale for $86.00.

Here is a labelled SEA (mine, sold) From memory it was about 20cm. The label was very old and washed out but most of the SEA (in yellow script) could be clearly seen. I tried to photo the label but that was a couple of years ago before I got the knack and the results were atrocious and illegible.
Emmi's are rounded at the edges. This one was very square.
I have to go with Ivo's attribution for yours Emmi. Pete

Dirk, Your English is fine. If we have difficulty understanding then we'll ask. Otherwise, perfection is not necessary.
