I've seen these appear a couple of years ago but mostly in a nasty greenish quality. This one, however, is huge (42.5 cm = 17"), properly ground and finished. The ruby flashing is on the inside.
Question one: Swedish, Italian or Polish?
Question two: am i supposed to stick in 2 roses or is it a playtube for the gerbil cage?

Go for three roses (odd numbers are best) and cut the stem completely. You don't want to buy a gerbil just so you can use it ;D

With the price of petrol these days, it might come in handy as a syphon...
Sorry, I'll go back to my cage now.

Hi Ivo,
I think you'll find that this one is from Leonardo, so therefore Italian (!?!) ;-)
But of course it could be a 'copy'
On the second question; there's no 'right' answer, but try putting a couple of long stems of oramental grass through it. (The grass stems can be trimmed on the other end and used as a base for a second arrangement, if desired)

Leonardo makes sense, thank you :hiclp:. It means it was designed in Germany  and produced in Poland :spls:. No relation to Italy :mus:, there. And I'll not be using it for flowers :spls2:
