Post by: Gilead on August 20, 2008, 12:17:35 PM
Hi
I bought this Whitefriars Hambone vase, in cinnamon colour i know that it is a 9656 what i need help with is, could some one shed any light on the engraving which is on the vase it says Centenary 1868-1968, big C with an arrow pointing to the N.

would this have been done for Whitefriars celebrating 100 years or for some other company? any ideas are appreciated

Hi Steve, what's the width across the widest part of your vase - it's hard to tell from the photo if it's a 9656 (hambone) or a short teardrop (9571).... sorry I can't help with the engraving!
