Title: A Very Whitefriars Day...
Post by: Pinkspoons on August 24, 2008, 07:59:33 PM
I don't need an ID for this one - I just thought it was a very pretty photograph of a vase I bought today - 9874 'Ridged' Vase in Sky Blue - along with the same pattern in Gold that I bought a few months back.

I bought both vases from stalls with lots of bog-standard Whitefriars marked up at silly above-retail prices, but in both instances these 9874 vases were really quite cheap (by comparison) and completely unidentified by the sellers. I suppose they're not instantly recognisable as 'typical' WF....

And I also picked up a complete M10 water set in Twilight, complete with a Design Centre label...

Thanks Pamela.  :)

Steve, um, I think I'll put them in my shop for a while, although they may get eBayed sometime in the future if they don't sell. The Sky Blue one is a little rarer than the Gold, as Gold was produced 1978-80, and the Sky Blue just for a few months in 1980 before the factory closed.

Yup - should have loads of contenders for that now that I'm (slowly) mastering my lighting table!  ;D
