I feel I should know this character. Set of 12 coasters (or lantern slides?), each bearing the cartoon of a sailor (with mop, with signalling flags, with bugle - etc.) painted - but not fired on.....
On the underside of the case a stamp that says "dge" (in lower case Kabel font!) and a mark that reads "ExFa".
Does anyone recognise the sailor; does he have a name?
