Title: Big aubergine coloured bowl marked B1787 or B/787
Post by: Pip on September 10, 2008, 12:47:36 PM
Hubby bought this the other day - it's a beautiful aubergine/purple coloured glass, is extremely heavy at over 2.5kg, measures 7in/17cm across and has a polished pontil.  It is marked to the bottom with either 'B1787' or 'B/787'.

Could this be from Boda?

Any help appreciated TIA.

An update - we thought it *might* be a design by Elis Bergh but the numbering doesn't seem to match with the number system shown in Ivo's little booky.  Ivo - what do you think?  Is anyone here familiar with Elis Bergh's output?
