Title: Can anyone shed a light on this? ID: Drawn tungsten cage-type bulb c1920-30
Post by: a40ty on September 23, 2008, 04:37:10 AM
Hi, I've split this from Alistair's thread on "Foreign". Hope the photos are good enough.
Antique lightbulb, British, 13 cm. from top to toe and 7 cm. at the widest part.
What is it called and approx. how old is it?

If it were smaller i would say it went in the back of an oven , maybe a big oven light does it give the power rate.

There are no marks of any kind except the hand-written "scribbles" which can just about be seen ib the middle picture.

Drawn tungsten cage type. c1920-30 would be the main period but could be later too.
