Possibly to be used when playing Stravinsky ;)

It is a piano insulator. What colour is it in normal light?
-
bought glassy insulators in Sicily! photos to follow soon ;D
-
The colour in day light Frank is a deep vibrant lime green really picks up the UV light from the sun well, the photographs give a good representation of the true colour

Sorry Christine didn't mean to call you Frank ;D

Thought it might be ;D i've got one of those too. I think they might (note the might) be Sowerby and pattern 2049.
-
Thomas Kidd and Co., Manchester

Where did you find that piece of info? They are certainly very similar to the Sowerby 2049 in the 1927 catalogue, but it's difficult to tell from the sketch.

I just remember reading somewhere that they were a producer of piano insulators. might have been pressed in time site. Yes just looked http://www.pressedintime.com/others.htm just thought it might be an option. but saying that could be any body, process of elimination.
