I bought this beautiful mountain goat or ram some time ago - the seller absolutely insisted it was Murano, but I haven't seen any Murano like this before, it looks more Scandinavian to me - does anyone else have any thoughts?
It is about 8 inches tall (packed away so I can't be sure) and very heavy. The back is hollowed out into an ashtray, and the scut is where you would rest your cigarette. The cigarette rest is frosted glass but has become quite yellow, so I would appreciate ideas for cleaning it too.

I pretty sure it isn't Scandinavian; I would be inclined to go along with your seller ;) Perhaps one of the others has seen a similar piece..

It just might be one of the excellently executed but machine made figurines from Arques - they keep surprising.
