Title: Green, brown stripe vase identification help please
Post by: hovers on October 07, 2008, 03:53:37 PM
I would be grateful if anyone could help me with who might have made this vase and when it was made.
It is white with green and brown coloured stripes, the inside is ridged and the outside is smooth. Approx 8ins tall and I have two of them. Thank you.

Since posting this request for info I have not received any replies. I have just seen a photo in BBC Homes and Antiques magazine (Feb pg 101) of a Gray-stan vase which looks very similar.
Does any one think that mine could be Gray-stan? Mine have no makers marks on them.
Thanks for any help.

Can we see a picture of the base and the top rim please; they may help.

No replies usually means no one that saw it knows.

Thank you for the quick responses. I will provide more pictures but it will be next week as my camera is in for repair.
