I have just bought this bowl today, at Newark,( and what a waste of time that was >:( ) and I think (more like hope) that it maybe by Heinrich Wollman.

If it is, could anyone please tell me when it was made. I was thinking pre 1935, but what I know could be written on a pinhead :-[ , but I am learning.
Many thanks Barbara

It is by Hald (HU, not HW) , I think it was designed 1938 but it has been in production for a very long time.

Hi Ivo,
Many thanks for the information, at least I got the first letter right! ;)
It was very reasonbly priced, I bought three things and only spent £35.00, the others were a crackle jug with a Bristol blue snake as a handle, and a Stuart Elgin tankard, so OH is a very happy and relieved man ;D.
It was very hard to see anything to buy at all, full of cloudy decanters, frilly Victorian vases, and Chinese imports. Not really my sort of thing, prices not too bad, but very very few buyers.
