Title: Strange bottle..

I think this is quite old. It is 12" tall with an applied handle. The bottom has a broken off pontil and an etched arrow. Continental I am thinking. Can anyone help origin and age. TIA

One continent for sure, weird looking thing. Egypt perhaps.
