Title: Scandianavian Glass with Jewish Influence?
Post by: wesley on October 21, 2008, 09:38:30 PM
Hello All,

Could anyone shed some light on this amber glass vase which I bought in Stockholm. Measuring approx 7 1/2 inches in height and with a ground pontil and shows signs of surface wear. It has a Menorah style Jewish candle holder design on the front together with many other random shapes impressed on it.

Kind regards,

Wes

The resemblance is accidental, I'm sure. Menorah have seven branches (temple menorah) or nine branches (Hanukkah menorah).
