Title: SCANDINAVIAN GLASS BOWL ID REQUIRED orrefors ?

Hi, smokey blue ? bowl 6 1/2 inches high,looks a wee bit like a giant eye bath? nice clean level base no pontil
signed on base ofors GH 552 the last word looks like Rahgra

Are you sure it doesnt say afors , just a thought.

Hi, yes after looking at it again it does say afors l bought it because l thought it said orrefors any ideas on the design artist, thanks kieran

Well the designers i have are G Sahlin - B Vallien - U H Vallien .none match your initials, maybe Ivo or Bill Geary can help. ps i believe E Gordon may be on the books but not sure.

Hi, l have looked up e gordon and he did similiar work for afors but the pieces ive seen are all signed E gordon did he sign all his work? kieran

Yes this is by Ernest Gordon for Åfors. I'd be interested in a picture of the base if you would post one - they did occasionally add other words, usually related to the colour - and unusual not to have his name on the base.
