Post by: kieran on November 04, 2008, 04:40:00 PM
Hi, very tall vase 19 1/2 inches high, with a torn label  blue & gold in colour , can just make out venetian art glass with a H inside a G,
I would love to know what factories used these labels and era if poss,
The vase is pewter colour with  white spiral stripes, there is no gold colour in the vase must be my flash, thanks Kieran

This would most likely be similar to your label:

G Hardy Co. They imported glass from Sweden and Italy in the 50's & 60's.  (This information was kindly given to me by David Fletcher.)  Italian glass had "Venetian Art Glass" instead of Swedish art glass.  I don't know the factories though sorry!

The "Hardy" label shown is now known to be Hans Geismar, not George Hardy.
