Hi Cazza

Stop struggling with the pictures - have just identified the weight for you!

It is a Caithness weight from 1994 which was commissioned by Peter
Jones China of Wakefield - hence it does not appear in the main
body of the Charlton catalogue.

Peter Jones China commissioned Caithness to make over 70 different
commemorative weights.

Your weight was commissioned to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the
investiture of the Prince of Wales hence the daffodils in the design.

It was designed by Colin Terris and was a limited edition of 100 weights

Its issue price was £200 or $400. Here is the picture I have of the weight.

Hope this helps

Best regards

Derek

Hi Cazza

Its not marked because it is a commissioned piece - only the main catalogue
items carried the full markings - commissioned piece just carry the scratched
edition size and edition number.

Best regards

Derek
