I really do not know my paperweights, I am going to guess Italian because that's where every single paperweight in the world comes from right? ;)
So can anyone tell me where this is really from and any other pertinent information, what the design is called era so on and so forth? Thanks in advance!

Yup it's Italian: Fratelli Toso made that weight. It's a variation of a flower pot weight. Age is trickier for me. My guess is 60s to 70s.
Actually I would say that about a third to a half of the paperweights you see on eBay come from China.

awesome! a much better result than I was expecting for this piece. I got it in an antique mall for 6.00 :) Thanks!
