Title: Antique St Louis tricouleur
Post by: tropdevin on December 02, 2008, 08:37:33 AM
..

I was surprised when this item (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?type=2&campid=5335820906&toolid=10001&customid=&ext=190269415864&item=190269415864) was first listed, and I had hopes of adding a rare antique to my collection for a bargain price.  But it has gone way beyond my budget.

Ditto. But aside from rarity, these weights don't have a lot going for them from an artistic standpoint.

Well, I'm not so sure about that, Andy. I much prefer these from an aesthetic viewpoint to many of the Bacchus and other Old English concentrics. :)

It's a very tidy and simple design. I prefer it to 'wobbly' canes.
