In a recent thread Cathy posted a great link about the history of Japanese glassmaking.  Following up on that, I found this page about an engraver, Takeo Tekemasa  (http://www.kuripa.co.jp/glass-art/cgi-bin/ag_personal.cgi?lang=en&id=215) Wow!  Fabulous work.  But that's not all...from there check out the Artists tab - a huge range of Japanese artists are represented.  Some gorgeous work!
