This little vase looks to be clear glass rolled in purple enamel and copper aventurine and blown into a mould. The outer is textured with more texturing where the copper is. Quite heavy for its size and with a nicely polished ground rim. Has anyone seen anything like it before? 3 inches tall, 3.5 inches maximum diameter.

Outside chance, though nothing like it yet showing Dodds (http://www.scotlandsglass.co.uk/cms/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=241&Itemid=51)

Use of random adventurine on amethyst reminds me of Azzuro Mastri Vetrai (nr Empoli) production in the 80s and 90s. But nothing like it in current production on their website and the shape looks odd. Could it have been cut down ?

Don't think so Pete, there's too much finishing to the rim. It all seems very hand made, but well done
