Title: Two pieces - Val St Lambert?

I acquired these two pieces of glass in a job lot of Mary Gregory glass at auction last week.  Neither are signed to the base - does that automatically rule out VSL?

Pics below - bud vase measures 8 1/2 inches, and glass is also 8 1/2 inches!

Also, with the glass - what would you call the colour?  It is a kind of peach-amber-tobacco stained colour!!
