Title: Chinese Macedione PW
Post by: westred on January 06, 2009, 10:09:02 PM
I am thinking of selling this PW and wondering if any of you have seen values for this type of Chinese scramble.
From my research it dates from 1925-1935 and is 2 5?16" in diameter.  It is in very good condition.

  I am guessing $40-60.

I don't know what these go for in stores but on eBay - not much.
These are quite common and prices vary from $0.99 and up to around $30-40 if you're very lucky.
The honest listings seem to fare better than the "possibly old french millefiori" listings.

In the U.S., $15 to $25 at antique shows and flea markets. The above is correct about eBay prices. They're all over the place, but rarely more than $25, if ever that amount. Usually $5.99 to $19.99, if you're lucky. They have limited value because there are just so many of them. Trying to sell it on eBay is, to my way of thinking, pointless because of the increased selling fees.
