Title: Covered swan dish - Frankreich Vallerysthal
Post by: Anne E.B. on January 14, 2009, 03:31:40 PM
I've just bought this lovely rich amber swan covered dish which I'm certain is the same as a milkglass one shown in Pamela's museum, i.e. Frankreich Vallerysthal (hopefully Pamel will confirm :))    Does anyone have any info on this glassworks please?
TIA

Found it in Ivo's A-Z ;D

Just another question.  Mine has a solid tail whereas a milkglass one seen on an auction site, has a split tail.  Are the split tail ones earlier, or were just the milkglass versions made with a split tail?
