Hello fellow glass people , Can you please help to ID this 20th Century teal green glass vase with applied white rim. It's made from high quality metal and has a polished out pontil mark. Cheers, Glass

Hi Max, thank you for your help.

I think you might be right, I can see a similar vase on page 136 plate 150 in the soft back Whitefriars Glass book. Any other help will be much appreciated. Cheers

It does look like a W/Fs one but be carefull there are some Scandinavian ones almost identical same colours but
a bit heavier and the white rims are a little thicker i have had both, one was a bowl with flat polished base Ray Annenberg saw it in my cabinet and said straight away thats not W/Fs . They still get sold at fairs as W/Fs . Again i must say the shape of yours looks ok. see if its in the catalogues on W/Fs dot com .

Thanks for the info John.

This vase might be soda glass but I did think at first it had some lead content. I found this page with a very similar sample of this vase here > http://www.whitefriarsorg.org/memb1/cat-66/p33.jpg

My vase is 9 1/4"
