Title: Wonderful amberina bird?

This is one of my favourite pieces tho not my best and I have never been able to find a makers name, pleeeeese help:-)It goes from yellowy orange at bottom in which the mercury glows under uv to ruby at top:-)

My suspicion would be from the US, simply because Amberina seems to be more a US thing. Can we have a picture of the base and a side view please

Yes my feeling has always been that it may be a US piece, I will get some more pics up asap:-)
