Title: Small heavy triangular clear vase with bubbles. ID = Leerdam, Floris Meijdam
Post by: langhaugh on January 22, 2009, 07:54:30 PM
The second of my recent speculative purchases in that I liked it before I had a clue who had made it.  Again, it's lovely, imho, wherever it comes from, but I would be interested in knowing where that might be. It's about 4" tall, triangular, very heavy, with the bubbles formed very neatly close to the core. It has a narrow base that is slightly concave and with no discernible markings.

Thanks for any help you might be able to offer.

Leerdam, designed by Floris Meijdam;  This vase is also known as "The Beechnut" (Beukennoot).

Thank you very much, Ivo. You've made my day, as I was hoping for Leerdam.
