Title: I would like to collect a set but what's it called and by whom?
Post by: Fen on February 05, 2009, 03:37:51 PM
I like the shape and design on this glass that I found in a junk shop and would love to know who made it and what the design is called so that I can start to increase towards a full set from my meagre collection of one! Can anyone advise, please?

That looks like a standard Bohemian starburst design - perhaps by Bohemia/ Crystalex, perhaps by another company. I think you'll have a hard time to find an exact match because this type of tableware has been in production for a very long time and many varieties exist. But you never know - maybe the other 5 will appear in the same shop tomorrow!

Helen? — My first ever Jobling jade lady figurine set (figurine, flower block, bowl, and plinth) was bought in weekly installments from our local RSPCA shop!   It must have come from a house clearance, and they were bring in and unpacking the boxes from their store one by one.

So here's hoping!
