Title: Hemingray #50 - Glass Insulator
Post by: antiquerose123 on February 19, 2009, 08:20:16 AM
Just found this for .50 cents.  Do not know the year on this unless i missed it.  This is also shorter (wider at the base) than some of the others that I have.  It does not have any cracks, but has bubbles in it.  Any extra info appreciated.  TIA

Glass insulators is a collector's field with thousands of (US) enthusiasts; they have their own reference sites, jargon and gatherings. The above link is a nice starting point. If you cannot find it there, just google glass insulators - the result will amaze you.

I agree with Ivo, wholeheartedly, but them I'm always biased towards a website that does it properly.   See:
