Title: Yellow vase ID please - Nazeing?
Post by: heron on March 02, 2009, 06:46:23 PM
Please can anyone help with ID of this vase - 5.5" high and rim diameter 4.3" - looks similar in shape to a vase I saw at the  Nazeing Museum (superb display of glass). The base is fairly flate except for the rounded raised rim of the base and the pontil appears to be fire-polished (hope this is the correct term).

Hiya,

Your vase is post-war Nazeing pat. no. 52/6, and is spot on at 5 1/2".

Hi Nigel

Thanks for information.
I do now have a copy of "Timberlake" and have found the pattern number there and it certainly looks to be the same vase.
The green jug arrived today so I will provide you with detailed dimensions as requested.
