Hi there murano lovers, i think i have found a rare gem!. standing before me is a huge pitcher i'm told dating between 1850-1910. it belonged to a lovely lady whom was her mothers mother, passed to her.they've all passed on now so she can't ask for sure. she believes it was made by someone in italy famous but can't remember the name. i'm soo excited!!! the quality is remarkable. its never been used, i dare not wash the age off it, it is 15" tall x 5.5" at base, with pontil mark, and... glows selenium orange under uv light....any ideas?? i'm soo bursting with excitement!!!, the handle just sparkles rays of light when sunned. the glass is thick as well.. anyway any suggestions?? dare i say salviati? like the whole roman fetish they went through? it weighs a ton!!!

Hi,,
I don't think it was made here.. The base, the handle, also the color are all details that I don't find in our glass tradition.
I'm not expert of "not murano" glassworks, so I have no suggestions about the producer.
Sincerely
Alex
