I bought this at an auction a couple of months ago.
It was described as bohemian late 19th early 20th century.
I then set about trying to narrow the field of identity.
The nearest I got was Moser glass, but then its not quite right for that in my view.
The other problem to me was its age,
whilst knowing zilch about bohemian the more I look at the vase the more it seems just too perfect.
No wear on the gilding although there is some slight wear to the base.
So once again I'd like to get your opinion.

I know these cut-to-clear vases with gilding and enamel paint are in current production in the Czech republic (or in Russia, Hungary or Poland). I see these (mostly with a white top layer) quite regularly and find they are remarkably cheap for such an intricate piece of work. You can normally pick these up for 30 to 50 UKPs.
Now I do not think they were made with intent to deceive - but the auction house describing it as "late 19th early 20th Bohemian" had it wrong. The style is late 19th - but the production continues to this day.
As for wear on the stand ring ("soft scratch") this can occur in as litttle as 10, 15 years so it is an indication of some age - but it does not have to be a great age.
Moser is just one of the many glass makers who worked in this style - but there are many others. http://www.crystal-treasury.com/ has similar items, I believe.
