if i remember i was told scottish....but then that was 20 years ago.

Hi Norman

Not easy to be certain from the image, but it could well be Scottish - from Strathearn Glass; they made door handle weights, and also made weights with scattered millefiori on muslin. A clear image of some of the canes would probably allow certainty in attribution (to rule out Murano).

u are correct its strathern as i have found a virtual identical one on the net and will post a better pic tomorrow as its very dark here.
