the base has a polished pontil mark.
hmmm i still have another 30 weights or so .....hope u will not get annoyed with all these questions.

This one is Scottish. Looks like Strathearn to me but I could be wrong. There are others on this board who will be able to be more specific.

As with some others, it's either late Vasart or early Strathearn.

thank u for those links and they are very informative indeed....has re enkindled my interest in paper weights...was mad about them twenty years ago then stopped...well with all the research u have done and great pics...hmmmm perhaps i start buying again.
so for the next two weeks i will have my nose to the weights grindstone.
