Title: Enamelled vase

Not sure how to term this one...perhaps simply painted---i am sure i have seen similar on the message board...but just cannot find the thread.
any help pls.

I've seen a few of the vases that had the thick gold ribbons. I have owned a couple that were iridized. I don't know if anyone knows who did these types of vases. Two possibilities were Steinschonau and Rindskopf, but these were just guesses of people who collect Bohemian glass. It could be that several companies made them. My vases had clear bases and iridized sides. Does your vase also have a clear base?

Added on -- two other companies I just ran across that did the thick gold ribbons are Josephinehuette and Goldberg, so apparently the decoration was fairly common.

the vase is a soft brown overall....no clear glass at all.

I think you can also add Poschinger to the shortlist...
