Title: Opaque white glass stoppered bottle. ID = Hadeland, Norway
Post by: glassobsessed on March 26, 2009, 06:33:42 PM
Hi,
I have been trying to identify this bottle but with little luck, I have seen a dark green one on whitefriars.com (is it section) that was described as probably Dartington. Neither colour looks right for Dartington Glass to me.

The bottle looks to be mould blown (2 part mould) and has a polished concave pontil mark, the stopper looks to be pressed using a four part mould.
Dimensions are 24.5 x 10 x 6.5 cm.

I had wondered if Skruf might be a possibility.

Thanks, John.

what is the stopper like - if it has a plastic lining it will be either Oberglas or Empoli, if it is ground you have a better chance of being by a quality maker.

I should have mentioned that the stopper is ground as is the inside of the neck to create a snug fit.

Turns out to be by Hadeland of Norway, page 30 in their 1965 catalogue: https://www.matslinder.no/2016/05/14/hadeland-katalog-fra-1965/
