Title: Help ID Filigrana Cut Aperitif Stem
Post by: snesbit on March 28, 2009, 12:11:53 AM
I just purchased this stemmed cordial / aperitif from a great estate which originally came from Delaware / US.

I'm sorry about the poor picture quality, I'll try to take some better shots against a different ground.

The stem measures 7 1/8" high, 2" wide at the bowl rim and at the base.

The stem is cut with a hex tapering panel with fine notching at the edges.

The filigrana decoration shows twisted emerald green and satin rods.

The base is not finished, no pontil.  The gold enamel decorated rims are ground / polished.

I also purchased a set of Dorflinger stems from the same estate.

Any ideas as to possible factory?

As always, thanks in advance for any possible leads.

Thought I'd give this a bump to see if there are any fresh eyes after the weekend.

Again, thanks in advance for looking and any input.
