Hi I have been informed this vase is a Rosenthal Freyer Vase but cannot find any on the Internet - does anyone know if this is correct please? Thank you, JennyJ

Hi Jenny,
Rosenthal is a German company, so it may be an idea for a moderator to move this to the
general Glass board.
Freyer certainly was a designer for them, and he designed for Rosenthal 1964-74, and certainly
this included glass, see this link,
http://www.rosenthalusa.com/1288d858/FREYER_Martin.htm
and apparently his most important and most famous design is the VW emblem for Volkswagen!
I dont know if your piece is by him, i have normally found Rosenthal Studioline to be signed,
sometimes in very small print, are you sure theres nothin on the base?
Maybe someone on the general Glass Board, may offer some more info.
Regards
Andy

Hi Andy, thank you very much for your reply, I just had another look on the base and there it was! Rosenthal! I have looked many times over the last 12 months or so I have had it and never been able to see it before, the light helped, I usually look in daylight! I didnt realise I had posted in the wrong place, I will be more careful in future. Thanks again, Jenny

Hi Jenny,
always a nice feeling when you see a Signature you spend ages looking for. ;)
Why dont you try emailing Rosenthal, and asking them if its a Freyer design ?
German website is http://www.int.rosenthal.de/1093//Homepage.htm
contact email address, mailto:info@rosenthal.de
Sometimes companies can be very helpful, sometimes you dont get a reply!
Best of luck,
Andy
