Title: Amazing pressed glass vase....Czech
Post by: norman warbreck on April 10, 2009, 10:20:25 AM
Just having this on the table and walking past/around it gives a swirling/reflecting effect and yet the jewels at the top attract the eye.Although pressed the vertical lines are neatly and deeply cut(look) and so are the horizontal lines.
Pressed underneath Tchecosloaquie...that spelling looks crazy but that is what i am able to read.(raised mark)
Looked thru the CD but not found so i hope someone may be able to help with more details.
thanks
norman

Hi Norman,
its quite nice, but personally i think it spoils the amazing view from your window!  :o

You're very lucky waking up to that every morning!

Hey Andy,
yes a great view but seldom do i give it a second look...sadly...best place to shoot clear glass as i wanted the light to catch the prisms...if i can call them that.

Hi Norman, check out the Libochovice catalogue on Marcus' Book CD - page 24, bottom right, looks like your piece but check the height against yours as well. It came in 3 sizes. 8)
