Hello again, I saw this bowl for sale and was blown away with the beautiful colours in it but I didn't buy it because its not what I normally collect. But I kept thinking about how nice it was and went back and bought it several days later. Its 17cm across and 6cm deep. I'm pretty sure its Italian but other than that I admit to not knowing about this type of glass. Its got the most lovely greens, blues, bronze and peppered all over with gold glitter flakes. looks like an exotic sea shell. any info on age and maker would be lovely. Thanks Cheryl.

Looks like a Murano piece to me - of the "generic" type. We call Murano glass "generic" if we cannot figure out a maker because too many glass makers worked in this style. Timewise I think 1960s, give or take 15 years.

Perhaps I should now be on the Murano page asking this, but is my bowl what gets called "tutti frutti" or is that something else?
thanks cheryl
