Title: Cased Thick Brown / Yellow little vase 1970s

A nice little object ive just received from ebay.
Well made, thick and heavy ,cased , interesting layers (see photo of top)

I cant even offer one of my wild guesses for this one :huh:  Colours seem very 70s.
3 1/2 inches tall, it appears to be clear glass on inside and outside with the streaky brown/yellow in the
middle.
Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Not important, just got me stumped. I thought Moretti? Zweisel? No idea why, its just how my brain works!

It's trying to look like agate isn't it. Maybe older?

Hi Christine,
im not sure about the agate, just appears a nicely made little bottle, i cant find anything with
3 layers , that thick . Tiny clue, its rim is slightly beveled and polished. The maker took some time and effort with it. Age wise, i dont think its any earlier than 50s 60s 70s.

Lovely looking bottle, it reminded me a little of some Kaj Franck bottles for Nuuutajarvi Notsjo  shown on page 125 Fire and Sea. Now that I have looked in the book I think yours is made with much thicker glass and I do not think the Franck bottles look cased like yours. The colours in the Franck bottles are also 'more primary' in nature.

The book also states that "Franck used the filigree technique from the 1950s to the 1970s" but I am not sure if yours is made using the same method.
