Heavy, 5.75 inches high and 2.75 inches in diameter. I thought I had seen something like these before and they were Finnish in origin. Any help appreciated.

There is a Scandinavian design like this; unfortunately it is also popping up on mass-market glass made in Eastern Europe, including a range for M&S. I am not saying yay or nay, just beware. My guess would be nay though.

These are by Krosno in Poland. The Fins were first in designing tableware with air bubbles - but the Poles took it on and massproduce them. So - not Finnish, but still, decent quality, striking presence and glasses to be proud of.

Thank you very much, you are very generous to share your knowledge like this.

A possible quibble. When did Finland start with bubbles? I think Kosta had a bubble in "Pippi" glasses in 1937.

These look like Block Crystal's "Stockholm" pattern to me. I have 4 of the double old fashioneds.

Hi, thanks to all that replied. I wondered about Block Crystal's "Stockholm" too but do you think that the bubbles are much larger relative to the available space and also less rounded? Also, I couldn't actually find that design.
