hi is this piece of glass murano? its blue with a amber rim its 5inch by 4inch across the top polished base thanks karen

Definitely Murano - but not attributable to any single maker, so it is usually called "generic Murano".
Fototip: if your camera has problems focusing in close-up, take more distance and cut out the bit you need afterwards.
