I would like any knowledge at all on this pressed glass wine glass,i think it is a wine glass due to the vine pattern on the stem it stands at 13cm and is 8cm across the base and 6cm at the top of the bowl...any info gratefully received.lynn

The standard glass for Rhine wine in Germany, a.k.a. Römer (Rummer). These exist in an endless variety. The earlier ones have a hollow blown stem. Many of the recent ones with pressed foot were made by Oberglas Austria - but I think most German and Austrian glass producers have made this type at some point in history.
