Title: I.D HELP - White hanging lamp with applied leaded glass leaves
Post by: Flypogger on May 22, 2009, 02:46:35 PM
Hi - here is something else I am trying to identify. At least 50 years old, very beautiful. No markings evident. Anybody have any thoughts? Thanks.

A close up of the coloured work would help I think?  It looks to me like someone has decorated a 1950s style glass shade with specialist glass paint....but I can't really see the detail.   :)

It is definitely lead and glass, not paint. All of my searches so far have turned up nothing.

Quite remarkable work!~But getting an ID with the sheer number of stained glass artists in the world will be tough, a few more images, other angles and unlit too, would be good to get an impression of the piece. Are the leade pices applied over the shade or are the incorporated? It would be fairly unusual approach
