Hi there having a real good sort through the millions of boxes in my house which are full of "projects" as i like to call them, things that i will one day work out what they are, and get some good solid info on so i can sell them and retire ;D
This little vase i bought thinking it may be finnish but have been unable to find the shape.. Pretty green colour with a clear glass foot. Stands at 20.5cms tall, weight 520g, reasonable quality work/glass, flat polished base surface wear so has a few years on it.
Is there a really good site for Finnish glass??
many thanks

I have always assumed that this was a vase from Riihimaki but I can not remember having seen it anywhere with a 'bomb proof' attribution. It does have the characteristics of Riihimaki production and this colour was certainly used by them.

Although this is a retail site, I have still spent ages just browsing, it can be quite informative.

Hi Michelle,
I find best way is to save any sites to your favourites/bookmarks,(just right click on the page you want to add)
I have opened a few seperate folders for Bohemian, Scandinavian, Antique etc etc
Cheers
