Title: JUG for ID please, WF?
Post by: Elmwood on May 24, 2009, 10:22:44 AM
Hi all,

Slimline "INDIGO" jug with celery handle, approx 12" at tallest point. Polished rim, weight 700G. Wondered whether anyone could point me in the right direction please?

Picked up this morning, and liked the feel of it, along with the colour, but rightly or wrongly my gut instinct said to buy.  Maybe because of the ornate handle, which I would have thought is more challenging to make.

ANY info always welcome and appreciated

Sharron

No WF, maybe Italian or Czech. That celery handle is quite common worldwide

Thanks Christine,

Well if its not WF but could possibly be Czech or Italian then it will be in good company in our cabinet?? So I rather think it will be staying

Mike and I disagreed on me purchasing this one but it was only a couple of pound.

I have managed to both clean and dry it successfully, after some recent disastrous results (my Kluk-Kluk and Dartington FT188)
No condensation.... yipee...... stuffed it with kitchen towel using a chop stick.....

Thanks again, Sharron
