Hi,
Can you help me identify this vase, I have no clues to who made it, appart from a signature on the bottom, but it really hard to make out. I think it says. Cuquilli or Guquilli and a a mark which is a makers initials intertwined?? Maybe someone could recognise the style. With the name ending in I, I thought it might be italian?? About 6 inches high.
Thanks for you help

Phoenecian glass, Malta. Leonard Mulligan.
But, although very similar, signature doesnt look like any of the above and the base is different.
there may be a connection with one of the Maltese makers.
I hope someone knows, id be interested. Let me know if you are selling it ;D
(whats the top like, is it similar to my vase, white inside??)
Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy,
I don't think it the same, as it has a painted texture on the outside. The signature is very different as well. :( I had a look at the Phoenician Glass website, and some of looks alike, but the surface isn't glassy. I'll let you know if I'm selling it, because it is a lovely piece.
Thanks for your help

I don't know if there's any point in ID'ing enquiries that are over ten years old, but perhaps it might be useful for someone.
Anyway this is Jean-Pierre Cinquilli. I know because I made an id request for the same guy and the signature was identified by Anne!
