Title: Scandinavian vase?

Just one more enquiry and i will stop for the evening but this vase is quite interesting in its design being 9cm high 7.05cm ac cross it has 3 off center pointed squares and i line of 3 circles 2 off which are indented and one raised the indented ones are in a square ! the glass has a slight grey colour and is quite heavy..Lynn

It's not too easy to make out the pattern Lynn, can you add more pics please? A side view, one of the base, and a pattern closeup would help. Thanks.

Much better thank you. :)  It looks like one of the Libochovice patterns (part of the Czech Sklo Union group) but I can't find this exact shape in the catalogues on Marcus' CD. What does the base look like Lynn?

Marcus' book and CD is must for each glass collector  ;D - see www.sklounion.com.

I agree with Anne that this piece is Czech, but it is probably leaded pressed crystal made in Bohemia Podebrady.

Hi,

Definitely Czech, definitely Libochovice. It does not appear in the circa 1958 catalogue, but may have been discontinued prior to that, hence no pattern number.
